Looking for a Puppy?
Here’s how our waitlist works and what to expect.
We’re thrilled that you’re interested in one of our dachshund puppies! Because we only breed occasionally and want to keep things manageable and personal, we use a paid waitlist system.
Step 1: Contact Us
Start by reaching out to let us know you’re interested in a puppy from our program. We don’t use a formal application process — instead, we schedule a video interview (about one hour).
During the call, you’ll get to meet our dachshunds, see our home, and we’ll talk in detail about our program to make sure it’s a great fit for both of us.
Step 2: Join the Waitlist
If we both decide to move forward after the interview, you’ll need to complete two simple steps:
- Sign the deposit contract (sent to you via DocuSign).
- Submit a $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal Friends & Family.
Waitlist Policy
- Your $500 deposit secures your spot on the waitlist and goes toward the total price of your puppy.
- You may choose one characteristic to prioritize — either gender or color.
- When a puppy matching your chosen characteristic is born, you’ll have the first right to purchase.
- You have two litters to make your choice. If a puppy matching your preference is available and you pass twice, your deposit will be forfeited.
- If we’re unable to produce a puppy matching your chosen characteristic within those two litters, your deposit will be refunded.
- Placing a deposit is a commitment to purchase a puppy from our program.
